A teen, a tween and an infant
My big girl turned thirteen last Friday. I absolutely can't believe that I have a teenager! It seems like just yesterday that she looked like this.
Today she looks like this.
Like any teenager, she is in to clothes,
music, and talking on the phone.
I never thought I would buy my kids cell phones until they were older, but when she went away to camp this summer with my parents' church group I broke down. It was the farthest she had ever been from us without being with family and we wanted her to be able to call if she needed us. So, the cell phone was bought and given as a very early 13th birthday present, and I have to admit that it's been nice for her to have it.
We celebrated sweet Celestia's birthday with Nana and Papa at the Magic Time Machine, and the girls got a caricature drawn together while we were there.
This year has seen Celestia mature in more ways than just physical, though. She is really learning to take on more responsibility, and has been a HUGE help to me with Zachariah. If it weren't for her, I probably wouldn't have gotten a bath this entire week. As it is, she's always willing to babysit her baby brother, and while I wouldn't leave them alone in the house together just yet, I don't think I could make it through the day without her help!
Zachariah loves his big sister, and I am such a blessed mama to have such wonderful kiddos!

Family photos
A couple of weeks ago, we had family photos taken. We've never done this before, and I'm so happy with the way they turned out! Any families in the area who want pics done should absolutely contact Stacy, because she does a wonderful job! Here are just a few of my favourite shots. Be looking for a new header with all five of us in it soon! I'm also trying to think of a good name for our blog. Please leave a comment with ideas! :)
This was Jonathan's granddad's hat.
This was Jonathan's very first hat. Apparently his love of head wear started early!
The many faces of Zachariah.
Love me some baby feet!
And now for my beautiful girls. They need to stop growing up! lol
We sure are silly sometimes
*Sigh* So beautiful!
Thanks, Stacy for the wonderful pictures! These are just a FEW of my favourites. I have NO idea how I'm going to narrow it down for the header! lol
