Summer fun!

Busy, Busy, Busy summer!
Both girls have gone to camps and had bunches of fun.  I have absolutely NO pictures of Celestia at camp, but we took Tatiana, and picked her up, so there are pictures of them at Camp Copass.  I'm really glad I got to go out, because we've had at least one child there for the last five years!  This, sadly, will be our last year for a while though, because both girls have gotten too old.  :(

It's Zachariah's first trip to Camp Copass!  I hope he will have the same wonderful experiences that his sisters did there when he's old enough.

Zachariah is eating lots of new foods.  Basically, if we eat it, he does too.  Sometimes we need to keep him clean...

Several bowls of water and a half a dozen towels later, Zachariah had happily splashed for a solid 20 minutes.  :)  Gotta stay cool somehow.  I'm so ready for fall!

Random Camp Copass sightings

The band who performs at Camp Copass posts pictures of the kids during worship on their website, and while browsing, I found two pictures of Tatiana, and one of my shoulder!  Hehe!  I can't believe they got me the one day I was there!

What a week!

This was one busy week!!!  Tatiana was at camp this week, and as I mentioned earlier, I drove some of the bags out.  We all got up bright and early Monday morning, and took Jonathan to work, where Celestia also spent the day while I was busy driving.

and I headed home.
Wednesday, I had my last monthly doctor appointment.  Now on to every two weeks.  It's getting so close!!!  This, I think, may be my least favourite doctor appointment of the entire nine months.  It was for the glucose and iron screening.

I really think it should be cruel and unusual punishment to jack someone's blood sugar up that high and then stick them with a needle.  Especially someone who happens to be hypoglycemic.  I felt rotten the rest of the day.  :(  Anyway - Zachariah's heartbeat was in the 160's and he kicked the doctor when she put the doppler on my belly to listen.  Sugar high, anyone?  lol  I am now measuring two weeks ahead of schedule, so have gained another half a week since last month.  No surprise there.  Everything is looking good, and I haven't heard back from the blood test, so I'm going to assume that I passed those, too!
By Thursday, Celestia and I had still not had a day to have some fun just to ourselves, so it was off to the aquarium.  Unfortunately, I was still feeling sick from the glucose test, so didn't take nearly as many pictures as I did when Tatiana and I went in June.  Nevertheless, we had fun and I got a few pictures.

The sloth was trying to escape and had to be fetched from the roof.

Some of the chameleons were out on a tree in the penguin area, because there was construction going on in their area, and it stressed them out.

and it was sea turtle feeding time!

Friday, Celestia and I drove back out to camp to rock out with The Jonathan Project,  and pick up some bags, and a very sunburned Tatiana.

Needless to say, by the time we got home, everyone was pretty worn out from all the excitement.  I'm looking forward to a much calmer week, and getting more accomplished around the house so I can bring my Zachariah home soon!!!

Just the two of us

Celestia has gotten too old to go to our beloved Camp Copass *sniff sniff*, so Sunday afternoon, we saw her off to a new camp at Abeline Christian University.

Tatiana was not too happy about her sister being gone for a week, so we promised her some fun time with just Mommy and Daddy.

Yesterday morning, I had a doctor appointment, and Tatiana got to go with me.  Not fun, you say?  Well, she thought it was AWESOME to be able to hear her little brother's heartbeat (150 BPM)!  My doctor is absolutely amazing, and spent a bit of extra time with us.  She let Tatiana hear the heartbeat for longer than was really necessary, and talked to her about camp and the aquarium.  On a side note, she says that everything is perfect, my blood pressure is great, I've gained just the right amount of weight, and I'm measuring a week and a half early, which is about what we expected.
There's no better place for a girl who wants to be a vet than somewhere full of animals (and no better place in the heat of June for a pregnant mama than somewhere indoors!).  We had great fun having lunch together at Cafe Maya, overlooking the shark tank and flamingos...

and then took off to see all our animal friends and take pictures of EVERYTHING!  I don't normally take so many pictures.  I love looking at wonderful pictures, but most of the time prefer to just relax and watch everything going on around me.

This bird flew right down to us, and Tatiana put her finger in the bird's face, and got bitten!  Silly girl!

This is my favourite place in the aquarium.  I love waterfalls!

We saw several nesting animals.  Love is definitely in the air.

I even took a couple of self portraits.

Can't wait to bring my Zachariah here to enjoy the animals!

We had a great day together, spending the whole afternoon in our favourite place in Dallas!  Tatiana took a ton of pictures on her sister's old cell phone, and if we can ever find a data transfer cable, I'll post some of them, too!
